Biography

Inakat is a self-published author, Spoken Word artist, and the CEO of Inakat Publishing.

Inakat Publishing was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2010. The purpose of the company is to produce, promote, and expand in the mixed media arts, with a focus on things of an Erotic nature.

Inakat designs the majority of her own artwork, as well as records and mixes her tracks. Her hobbies are her passions, which are writing and poetry. She is a self confessed chocolate and seafood lover.

She is a mom that works full-time while pursuing her B.A in Behavioral Sciences. Her goal is to encourage all women to embrace their inner Goddess, discover the treasure of themselves, and stand up for her right to pleasure.

Her latest novel Third Base is urban mix of steamy erotica. Inakat paints vivid strokes of the imagination with fiery, lust filled chapters. One of the major characters Misty is caught up in a spicy tryst with a man she barely knows. The heat of desire melts the facade that nice guys always finish last.

What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book "Third Base" is really a look at some of the ways we see different forms of love in ours lives. Thomas Base is the hero who battles challenges with the healing power of his love for music. He is looked upon, as the man who made something out of a natural talent that is successful.While his sister, Misty who moved to another state, after a messy divorce, has not had much success love at personal love. Her plan was to leave love alone forever, until she meets someone that re-ignites her passions. The problem is he arrives just after she had promised her estranged family that she was soon to return home to them.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I sold my first book on Smashwords. I found so many great resources on Smashwords that helped cultivate the creation of an actual product. I got my first author high from Smashwords with that sale. It was in that moment that I saw "Hey you can do this!"
