Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
Book three in the series, "The Korpes Identity", is due out sometime in 2022. Other commitments have coopted my creative schedule at this time.
Who are your favorite authors?
That's a tough question. I enjoy a variety of genres, so I'll just list what I consider to be my core inspirations (in other words, they taught me something) in the sci-fi/fantasy group:
Barbara Hambly, Mercedes Lackey, Terry Pratchett, Fred Saberhagen, Iain Banks, Isaac Asimov, H. G. Wells, William Gibson, C. J. Cherryh, G. R. R. Martin, R. A. MacAvoy, Tanith Lee, Ursula K. LeGuin, and Gregory Frost.

There are more I could mention on this list ... *glances at the 2k+ books on shelves in personal library* ...Yes. There are a lot more, but you get the idea.

It's dangerous to be Diasporan, and Technician Nash Korpes knows this only too well. As a 'throwback' he was coveted by the shadowy Korlune Military Research and Development for his genetics, and he's spent more time in Med-Bays than he has at work. When he's torn from those he loves by an act of war he seeks to make sense of it all and uncovers a nemesis that threatens them all.
