Joanna Jay

Biography

Joanna Jay was born in September 1992. She is a new author of romantic and drama
novels.
In 2015 she started writing her first book of the series Love and Obsession.
In 2019 she decided to publish it and that was when she became a self-publisher by
studying and searching what needs to be done in order to realize it.
In 2021 her first book of the series Love and Obsession was published. It is available
in platforms on the internet in electronic form but also printed form as well.
Today the novel Love and Obsession is available in Greek and English while its
translation into Spanish and in more languages is under way.
The second part of the series Love and Obsession is expected.

Do you remember what the first story you wrote was?
It must be when I was in primary school. I loved the fairy tale of the Snow Queen and Greta,
the main character, and I wrote about a teenage girl who saved her lover from an uncle he
worked for in a workshop. The result was quite different from the fairy tale that inspired me,
but it was on the same basis. Since then I have liked dynamic girls, like Greta, who would do
anything for love.
Did you decide from a young age that you wanted to follow the path of writing?
I used to write stories very often because I was not a very social child and this activity
became my hobby, this is how I had some fun. But no, I hadn’t decided it when I was little.
Many years later I realized that I wanted to follow this path, thanks to a conversation I had
with a girlfriend of mine.
