John Allen Royce

Biography

John Royce is a writer and horseman who was born in California and grew up in Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas/Austin, where he started the school’s first Equestrian Club and organized a national intercollegiate show jumping competition.

Work in systems implementation brought Mr. Royce to Boston in the mid-90’s, where the colorful old city sparked a passion for history that inspired The Legend of the Great Horse trilogy. Today Mr. Royce works to finish the trilogy, and to connect with readers and fans of history and horses.
