When did you first start writing?
I've been writing since fourteen. I wrote a suspense thriller about three hundred pages long or so. Spent months on it. Never heard of a query letter before. I got instantly rejected and kind of broke my feelings, but hey, that's the process of the publishing world of any kind.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Had an idea and title that stuck in my head for months and it wouldn't leave. I decided to go for it in the horror genre. The strangest thing kept occurring was each time I get a few chapters in, the manuscript would get lost in my computer. I drew to the conclusion that God doesn't want me to write this in the horror genre. I turned it into a mystery thriller instead where it, thankfully, didn't get lost. I crafted the story for four years.
