The book gives a unique view of Genesis 1. Conservative and Reformed views. The book argues scholars misunderstood Gen 1 as a statement of science. They thus attempted to fit the passage into Post-Enlightenment scientific theories. But Gen 1 is actually a statement of "cosmogony."
