Larry LaRocca

Biography

Born in Brooklyn, Larry LaRocca lived the first 45 years of his life in the greater New York metropolitan area. From a childhood on Long Island, many years living on the Lower East Side and finally a return to the borough of his birth where his son Primo was born, Larry is a Native New Yorker. From a very early age his interest in physical training, martial arts, alternative healing and a pursuit of God led to a lucrative career spanning 25 years as a personal trainer, sensei, and accomplished healer. His pursuit of the “Renaissance ideal” led to a life of adventure and discovery both inside and out. His experiences led Larry to believe that not everyone who shapes history is mentioned in it. Combined with his long time zeal for the impact of Rome and Christ on every aspect of our society and consciousness today led to the inevitable “what if” scenario found in his first novel “The Roman”, the story of a young man who was an intimate part of the singular event which changed all eternity.
