Louise Usher

Biography

Louise Usher was born in Kent, England on the last day of the 60's. As a child she always had pen to paper, writing many letters to thankful Grandparents. The passion for finding out what life is all about has taken Louise on a journey into an author. Twenty years ago she wrote two novels and decided to leave them in her bedroom. Long before the days of typing on a computer, she also won a place in a publication called the Other Side and took her poem, 'Thank you, mother nature' to print. Reflecting on her own infertility issues, this painfully written poem was a total contrast to her now humorous journals that she writes and publishes.

Often based on true stories, Louise loves to write about daily life and the ups and downs in a funny, relatable way that is easy to read. Subjects including Trying to conceive, weight loss, relationship hunting and life changing behaviours.

After discovering the Law of Attraction and how it helped her towards creating the life of her dreams, Louise published "The Basics to the Law of Attraction" to kindle and the work is currently growing with a passion.

Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
The Secret - This brought me to a new place of understanding just how life can be! Learning about the Law of attraction was like being smacked in the face with a wet fish! A Total shock and a wake up call!

Men are from Mars - this one taught me the differences between women and men and how they operate in such pole apart ways. It's helped me in my own love life and also helped me write romance novels.

The magic wishing chair - I read this book over and over as a child. I'm fairly sure Enid Blyton is responsible for my belief in unicorns!

50 shades - I know, I know but I feel there are not many books I finish until the end. Then watched the film which was far better than my own imagination.

Storm in a C cup - Caroline Flack autobiography. In my eyes, she has 'made it' in the world of TV presenting but this book is a reminder how we can perceive others on a pedestal yet the reality is, life can still be very much hard work
What do you read for pleasure?
I love autobiographies. I have read Jade Goody, Katie Price, Caroline Flack and many like this. Ladies who seem to have a glam life. It's interesting to hear about their difficulties. Also I do love a story where it's a type of Rags to Riches. Along with many self development books. Definitely those which you wouldn't believe are actual self help. Yet you end up helping yourself!
