Miriam Davis

Biography

Miriam Davis grew up in the UK in a loving Christian home whose doors were wide open to people from other cultures. Transformed by an encounter with Jesus at university, she set off in some trepidation after graduation to teach English in Japan for two years. Two years became forty-two! In 1986 she left teaching to join OMF International and spent the next 30 years in Hokkaido, in church planting and as advisor to new cross-cultural workers studying Japanese. She is now retired in Gloucester, UK. She volunteers as a mentor and mission presenter on behalf of OMF and is involved in a local church where she has become an Ordained Local Minister.
