Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
In fact I don't! I do however remember always having been great at writing Essays at school. One day in 5th grade, the teacher went out and left me in charge of the class- for the first time. As I tried to get on top of the rebellious mob, someone threw a sponge across the room, just as she walked back in (the kind that belongs to the blackboard at the front). I got in trouble for not doing my job properly and had to write an 2 page Essay about what I had done wrong! My Essay was titled "Why me having to write this Essay is totally unjustified", and went on to explain my efforts and the bad timing of the sponge being thrown across the room, just as I was starting to get on top of it all! LoL!
What is your writing process?
Good question! I'm a intuitive Writer and Artist, so the content comes to me in form of ideas, images, concepts, stories, analogies, poems or music. I tend to be able to hold this inspiration in me for a little while, if I'm busy doing other things. Then, as soon as I have the time, I need to write it down, sketch it out or make a voice memo. From there things seems to unfold quiet naturally. When it comes to writing, it certainly takes more mental energy then the other ways of creating and is reviewed more. Interestingly, the structure of what is written seems to be worked out first, to the point that all of my books started with the Itinerary. The rest follows and comes together bit by bit, as I keep working on it. To be bluntly honest, I find it hard to believe that I have written and published a few books! It seems more that they come through me, rather than from me and there's something really sacred about that process.
