Patro Ulmer

Patro “PERO” Ulmer artist, designer, and visionary is an Orangeburg, South Carolina native. Patro adopted the name Pero, pronounced P-ro, from his grandfather Louis Berry. Pero attended grade school in Orangeburg, Hardeeville, and Ridgeland, SC. At an early age Patro started turning heads as people begin noticing his Art work. was often referred to as “the boy that can draw.” He quickly became the go to man for art work at school and in the community. Pero has recieved numerous awards for his gift. Some of these accolades afforded him the opportunity to attend Claflin University, where he majored in Studio Art and Lander University, M.A.T. Art Education.

While attending Claflin, Patro established himself as Mr. Original, wearing clothing he personally created and customized. Patro wanted more people to appreciate his gift, and as a result he began creating and customizing clothing. That garments began to gain attention, which led Patro to launch his own line of Collections from Clothing to Murals. His passion and persistence has afforded him the opportunity to have his art work seen on national television, in major magazines, worn by celebrities, and featured in blogs. Pero lives by the saying “G1- God First” in everything that he does in life. So be encouraged to stand up and stand out with PERO COLLECTIONS!
