If you've ever wondered if there are really people who have no redeeming qualities, look no further than the protagonist in Joyce's book. You will love to hate him as you are continually repulsed by his thoughts and actions. However, Username isn't just about a twisted serial killer. Woven into the plot is another frightening issue - identity theft. Joyce takes us into the world of a savvy thief who feeds on innocent people who are totally unaware of any threat. Joyce is a master at creating characters and plots with enough layers to keep you enthralled. Don't expect "pretty" in this book but do expect characters that elicit strong emotional responses and that you'll not easily forget.
