The author lives with her husband on the edge of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.
Over the past thirty years she has slotted in writing as a hobby around three sons, a husband and a clerical job in insurance and accountancy. For at least twenty of these years she attended Creative Writing classes under the tutelage of the late Derek Fox, whose help and advice was invaluable as was the company of other students. Writing is a solitary occupation and it's good to know others have similar enthusiasm.
