What is your writing process?
I usually lay on back for a few days (not consecutively) and day dream. Once the basic idea is down and the characters have been created I begin to write. I can assure you that the first copy is horrifying. Things are misspelled there are no full sentences and it's kinda like I live in a world where commas don't exist. Once the first draft is done I trash the unnecessary fluff, procrastinate on social media, stalk Starbucks, message friends, and once I've FINALLY accepted my fate I edited the grammar. ( I really do try to avoid it). Since my grammar is borderline atrocious I send it to a friend of mine (he's a super sweetie really, because I'd never volunteer for that kind of torment) so he can tell me what doesn't make sense and what not. Then once it's all done it comes here.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I can remember reading is Charlotte's Webb. No matter how weird it may be it is actually what turned me on to the world of Fantasy. I relished in the impossible, because the possible had been done. There was no interest in the known, only the unknown and that was my first taste of losing reality.
