Richard McCully is the founder of expat website lifeinanewcountry.com which looks at the practicalities and cultural aspects of living in Thailand. Richard has been in Thailand for over five years and has worked as a writer, teacher and business consultant. Richard’s writing has
been published on many popular expat websites in Thailand and he has a vast experience of teaching in Thailand having worked at all levels of schools over the last five years.
Before moving to Thailand in his mid-20s, Richard worked in the travel industry in London for three years and developed a passion for visiting new countries which led him to Thailand. Outside of work Richard is normally either on the golf course, scuba diving or scouting out new restaurants to try.
