What got you into writing?
The big things that got me into writing were mainly mainstream media and my inquisitively imaginative mindset. I remember all those times watching Disney films, Dreamworks films, Scifi films (like Star Trek and Star Wars to name just 2 of them) and even a majority of the Marvel films and imagining how different the scenarios would play out if someone said or didn't say or do something in that very moment that made the plot continue down its canonical path.
This then lead to fanfictions. The common starting place for almost all the beginners, and something I suggest doing if you are new to it yourself. After several years of writing fanfiction, I finally got into anime as soon as I started british college and noticed how many different genes of anime there were... Until I eventually settled mostly on fantasy and isekai’s. Maybe a few rom-coms and romance on the side too, haha!
I then realised during university, that there was a small hole of opportunity that I could grab a hold of - a missing cross-genre of the isekai trope by crossing it with a popular science fiction element from today's most popular films - superheroes, but with a twist…. Oh, and a unique take on a low-fantasy Alternate-Earth series with a unique sci-fi/fantasy/romance multi-genre crosover (keep an eye out for that one, if you haven't seen or found it already!)
What do your fans mean to you?
The day I get a loyal fanbase, I will actually weep tears of joy… Having fans means so much to me, because it gives me this wonderful feeling of being accepted by the readers of the world who will enjoy the content I create.
