Billy Allmon

Biography

William (Billy) Allmon is a combat veteran of three wars, serving as a Navy SEAL from 1969-1993. He has participated in and led covert operations and classified missions worldwide. His résumé reads like a list of James Bond adventures, and includes boots-on-the-ground activities in many countries, from El Salvador to Desert Storm, where he served as an intelligence officer.

In addition to his battlefield and special operations experience, Billy is recognized as a counter-terrorist and security expert and, at the Maritime University in Long Island, New York, he taught anti-piracy procedures, how to survive as a hostage, and techniques for dealing with stowaways. He has instructed U.S. Navy SEALs in combat tactics, weapons of mass destruction, close-quarters battle, field tracking, scout sniper, unarmed combat, and clandestine communications systems and procedures, among other useful skills. He is regularly contacted by government agencies for his technical expertise in order to better train military technicians and Special Operations Groups prior to their deployments.

Billy retired as a Chief Petty Officer and lives quietly in the desert—where he is almost certainly dreaming up new and more “hilarious” practical jokes to play on his SEAL brothers… or others.
