Biography
Brian Lovett has written about turkey hunting for more than 20 years. He served as editor of Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine from August 1994 through January 2002 and again from December 2008 through May 2013. Lovett has also written or edited several books about turkey hunting, including The Turkey Hunters, The 2005 Turkey Hunters' Almanac, Hunting Pressured Turkeys, Hunting Tough Turkeys and A Far Green Country. Currently, he serves as field editor for the National Wild Turkey Federation's "On the Hunt" section in Turkey Country magazine. Lovett has chased gobblers in 20-plus states, taking several grand slams and a royal slam along the way. He hails from Oshkosh, Wis.
