Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I read was HG Wells' War of the Worlds, and it scared the shit out of me. But at the same time I was enthralled.
How do you approach cover design?
It depends; if it is a true crime book, I go for an image that will really grab the reader's attention, like a up close and personal shot of the serial killer's face.
