LOVED IT! Very interesting and original storyline. I’ve read book one and two thus far. Impatiently waiting for book three. Without giving away the story, I will tell you that’s it’s like beauty and the beast on Crack, sex, tons of violence and equal amounts of humor. But I agree with some of the reviews – it is a modern day love story. (maybe even bitter sweet) That is what I liked most about the books as I enjoy love stories. NOT a Harlequin /Billionaire type romance, though, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you won’t like it. It’s meaty, raw, exciting, fast paced and an easy read and I never got bored once. I laughed out loud at times, and at time my jaw dropped, so be prepared to experience a lot of emotions as you read. I’ve read Captured and I can tell you, it’s totally different from Captured. But it has the same style in terms of the narrator’s voice. In fact, I really like the author’s voice because it’s fresh. Oh, and also, it has tons of cussing and some shocking sex scenes (rape) and some really hot sex scenes. Love the series so far and can’t wait for book three.
