Claude Nougat

Biography

Claude Forthomme, an economist and former United Nations director, is a poet, painter and blogger. Writing under various pen names, notably Claude Nougat and Claude Bonanno (in Italy for her books in Italian), she has produced both non-fiction and fiction, including a children’s book, recipient of several awards in Italy, among them the 1992 Premio Mediterraneo.

Claude is a regular contributor to Publishing Perspectives (articles about publishing in Italy and start-ups) and Impakter (articles about the United Nations, published under the name Claude Forthomme). She is active on social media, in particular on Goodreads where she founded a group to discuss Boomer Lit. Her poetry has been included in "Freeze Frame", an international poetry anthology curated by British poet Oscar Sparrow, published by Gallo Romano Media in 2012.

Claude is married and lives in Italy.
