PROMISE OF MAGIC THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR As I started reading this awesome book I noticed that it was a lot like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs just an adult version (or teen version). As I got further down the page and read more and more it became clear that this was not really about Snow White but more on the lines of a warm fuzzy kinda story. It starts off in a school with three friends talking in sign language. They were the best of friends and it follows them to the little shop that they always buy soda from and then to home. Where is home you ask? Are these young people brother and sisters? Well that my friend you will have to read the book to get the answer to those questions. So as the day goes on and these three ”friends” start to go to the room to do homework, the lady in the office calls on one of them and asks them to come in to the office. As she walks into the office she notices a woman of about 40 or so sitting on the couch. She is introduced as Penelope Sutton. Now who is this woman you ask? Read the book. This book is so awesome and so much fun to read. I think I will now go back and reread the book.Wayne Hicks did an awesome job . He keeps you on the edge of your set and wanting more. A must read for all ages.
