What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
'Fine in June' was my first novel, It started as a short story just to experiment with writing erotic literature. I don't know where the story came from but the more I typed, there more there was. After the first couple of days, I was getting up early in the morning because I wanted to see where the story would go that day.
When I looked up how long a novel normally is, I found I'd written more than necessary, so I cut it down to 107K words. I'd left so many plotlines started and not fully explored, that it wasn't long before I picked it again and wrote the sequel. I so enjoyed seeing what got resolved and what new twists appeared, it became a trilogy.
What are you working on next?
The story behind a long-term project involves integrating an AI love chatbot into a realistic humanoid android. Nowadays, YouTube is filled with click-bait videos that claim to showcase lovemaking robots, but in reality, they are nothing more than a ChatBot attached to a non-moving love doll. However, I believe the technology is already available, and it only requires various research and production facilities to collaborate and share intellectual property to cross the line. Once this happens, it will bring about fundamental changes in human relationships.
