First off let me just say, WOW I was blown away! Robin is an extremely talented author. Why we haven’t seen anything from her before now is disturbing. I loved her easy to read style of writing and the way she executed dialogue. Very YA, very compelling. The first thing that caught my eye was the title. It peaked my interest, so I googled it and was pleased to see there is not one other book out there with the same title. A+ Robin! And then I read the blurb. She really got me there, I have a hard time saying no to urban fantasy young adult books. I’m so glad I happened upon this book too, because I really enjoyed reading this one, and I cannot wait for the sequel! There is really not a lot I can say about the plot without revealing spoilers except it was refreshing to finally meet a girl who was not helplessly dependent on a guy to take care of her. On the contrary, Genevieve was strong, independent, and had the muscle to back up her mouth so-to-speak. You can’t help but fall in love with this particular group of teens. This book is definitely worth the small price; you can get it for $2.99! If you like vampires and young adult novels, check out this book! I’m here to say Robin is definitely an author to be watching out for. I think she’s just hit the tip of the iceberg with this one!
