Biography
Mick Bower is one of the leading writers in the field of Mixed Martial Arts.
He has written for Fighters Only, Fighting Fit and Sherdog and founded the influential UK MMA website www.hurtbusiness.com.
Mick is also a published novelist and an award winning playwright. His blog Jamie Go Home received national press attention when his hometown was attacked by the forces of corporate idiocy.
When not trying to convince the masses that fighting in a cage is a beautiful, life affirming pursuit, Mick likes to moan about politics, the plight of Sheffield United and the demise of Rotherham town centre. His biopic, ‘Bard of Brutality’ would be a Shane Meadows film starring Paul Shane.
