Biography
We don’t know much about Pierrette le Flange, which is exactly the way she likes it.
What we are certain of is that she is from the Chamonix-Mont Blanc region of France, she lives in London, loves red wine and cats, and she writes the hilariously offensive and over the top series of Mrs Goobastank short stories.
Pierrette insists that we stress that these stories are not suitable for children, nor for anyone with a gentle disposition, and we wholly agree with her on both points.
“Am I worried that people will be offended [by these stories]? No,” she says with a shrug. “Some people WILL be offended by them, I know this. But, errrr… this is the way it is, no? Mrs Goobastank is particularly horrible. She is a très gross lady, but her adventures are – I think – very funny. These stories are rude, so people should just not read them if they think they might be offended by them.”
Very good advice. And very funny stories – if you like that sort of thing (which we do).
