I am an Online Travel Specialist, a teacher, and a writer.
I started writing stories at the age of eight, inspired by the tales of the Grimm Brothers.
I always refer to an idea or an inspiration to a story as “The Jolt” because once I have this idea for a story, it catapults in my mind until written.
Dreaming of Yellow Stars
Tonton wakes up one morning and finds himself and his pet dog, Kaloy, trapped in his tiny bedroom of his half-submerged two-storey house. A killer typhoon washes out the entire village. His tender age of ten, his skinny brown body, and his inability to hear and speak – these personal attributes of his do not hinder him in surviving the wrath of nature. Will they escape from the perils of nature?

- Flashy Shorts

I never thought that very, very (as in extremely) short stories can still be interesting. My favorite stories here so far are Bi-Grizzly and Hey Mama. I love the humor in Bi-Grizzly; and I love the twist in Hey Mama which initially brought me in the brink of tears but then brought me smiling in the end of story.

The title intrigued me, and so did the short description. And when I finished the story, I must say that I love the adventures of Hraun. I also like the fusion of art and adventure. I was just a bit distracted for reading a lot of participial phrases, yet storywise, I like it.
