Katherine Gae T. Yamar

Biography

I am a Performance Assessment Specialist, a teacher, and a writer.

I started writing stories at the age of eight, inspired by the tales of the Grimm Brothers.

I always refer to an idea or an inspiration to a story as “The Jolt” because once I have this idea for a story, it catapults in my mind until written.

I never thought that very, very (as in extremely) short stories can still be interesting. My favorite stories here so far are Bi-Grizzly and Hey Mama. I love the humor in Bi-Grizzly; and I love the twist in Hey Mama which initially brought me in the brink of tears but then brought me smiling in the end of story.
