Very engrossing-literally couldn't put it down! An interesting premise, a new take on a classic theme, and intriguing characters. While I am a fantasy novel fan, even those who don't usually enjoy those books will likely still dig this. This is a solid and enjoyable YA supernatural romance-if that's your thing, you'll like this. If that's not your thing-it hasn't been in the past for me-you might like it anyway! Looking forward to the sequel.

A strong sequel that goes in some unexpected and enjoyable directions! YA supernatural romance can be a bit hit or miss at times, but the Khloe Alwell series is standing out as a well-written, well-plotted story that keeps the pages turning and readers looking forward to the next book!
