Marion Waters

Biography

Marion Waters is a retired teacher and elementary school principal. She is currently working to complete her Master Gardener qualification. She lives where she has always dreamed of living, on the edge of a forest on Vancouver Island. Keeping her company are her husband, a dog and cat, a rooster and several chickens. She has a close-knit family that includes two sons and two grandchildren.

Marion enjoys learning to make stuff from scratch—soap, clothes, trellises, bread, maple syrup—whatever grabs her interest. She believes story-writing follows a similar process: begin with an intriguing idea, apply some skill and imagination, and eventually something wondrous will happen.

Ruby's Spring is her first novel.
