Chris Hanson

Biography

Chris Hanson is a 2012 graduate of the Maxine Goodman College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University, earning a BA in Urban Studies. He is a “serial entrepreneur,” and is always exciting at the prospect of starting new businesses. He first started building businesses with friends that he met while attending The Ohio State University in 2008. The team went on to start the first of many sweepstakes cafes in 2010, in Garfield Heights, Ohio.

His interests include social entrepreneurship (especially sustainability, social capital, and environmental projects), urban studies, travel, snowboarding, running, hiking, and lifelong learning.

Chris plans to continue writing about new urban business models.
