Willis Collins Hoover (July 20, 1858 – May 26, 1936) was an American Methodist Episcopal Church missionary, born in Freeport, Illinois. As a young man he practiced as a doctor in Oak Park, Illinois. He went to Chile in 1889 to teach at an English school. He was first appointed to pastor a church in Valparaiso in 1902.
The first-hand account of one of the greatest, most unusual, and long-lasting Christian revivals of the 20th Century. This e-book edition is slightly abridged from the paper edition now out of print. But it preserves the whole of Dr. Hoover's original report published in Spanish in 1930, but not translated to English until 2000.
