It was by chance that Michael passed under a branch where a hungry snake was about to gobble up a chameleon for lunch. The small prey had two choices, the snake’s stomach or to jump into the unknown. He chose the latter unaware that something wonderful would come out of this risky plunge - friendship!
A crow who had perched on a branch
near the window was watching.
It approached and landed on the
edge of the window. The charcoal-beaked
crow scanned Michael's room closely.
It inspected the room from wall to ceiling
with eyes aglow.
“Oh-oh, what is that little green spot
over there? A gecko?” wondered the crow. “Hum…”
