What motivated you to become an indie author?
Having written stories since I was 8 years old, I found experiencing life through my imagination was extremely fulfilling for me. Gaining the confidence to share my work with others is a massive step, though I'd like to think of it as a leap of faith :)
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Definitely the journey it takes me on. These characters and their stories become a part of you and as the creator I determine their destination.
What do your fans mean to you?
One word. EVERYTHING! :)
What are you working on next?
Currently finishing off the follow up to 'Cut.'
Who are your favorite authors?
Too many to list...I gravitate more towards the story more than one particular author. For me, it's always about the journey.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Not sleeping!! :) I spend my time rushing from school, to work, to after school commitments, gym, and sport. Also try and keep a household maintained and running.. And amongst all of that, fun time to write
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes... Ironically it was a short story about superman! :) I was 8.
What is your writing process?
The characters always comes first for me.
How do you approach cover design?
I just feel what is right for the story, and go with my gut.
