Biography

Hi, I am Kathleen Mare'e, mum of two amazing and adventurous boys, part time accountant, and some time writer :) The rest...? Well, I love living in fantasy, hence why I enjoy writing so much! I believe in gaining strength through experience and try to enjoy the emotional journey along the way.

After publishing my first captivating novel 'Cut', I am currently working on it's gripping follow up 'Battlescars.'

What motivated you to become an indie author?

Having written stories since I was 8 years old, I found experiencing life through my imagination was extremely fulfilling for me. Gaining the confidence to share my work with others is a massive step, though I'd like to think of it as a leap of faith :)

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

Definitely the journey it takes me on. These characters and their stories become a part of you and as the creator I determine their destination.
