Biography

A.M Torres is the author of five books Love Child, Child No More, J and K Christmas, J and K Christmas 2013, and J and K Valentine. Love Child received a positive review from Midwest Book Review who called it a "a fine and very much recommended read." Child No More is its sequel and the J and K Christmas titles are holiday themed books. J and K Christmas 2013 received four stars at Readers Favorite. A.M Torres also earned a Bachelors Degree at Ashford University in Social Science with Education Concentration and is the mother of two children Jason and Kristofer Lewis.

What do you read for pleasure?
I enjoy reading fiction and biographies. I love a good drama and suspense book. I enjoy good mysteries. I fully enjoy reading good biographies and history books as well. Biographies on people I like are great reads.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Word of mouth has been very effective. Talking to people directly has been very helpful. I have readers on Facebook who help spread the word and have. Following up with them while taking time to go out and reach new readers helps as well. I am currently working on holding readings at the library and hoping to finally start my first book signing.
