What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have been writing since I was young. Middle-school I guess it was. I started with poetry as a way to express my creativity, then worked my way up to writing short, fan-fiction type stories with some friends during high-school. Writing has always been an outlet.
Becoming an author was a leap of faith, taken with my very good friend and co-author - Nick Taylor. We realized that we had lots of stories to tell, and a world full of characters. So we did it. The rest is history in the making.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans are really the lifeblood of any author. We can write as many books as we want, but without fans out there those books simply sit on a shelf.
I aspire to be an author that interacts and talks with her fans. I love to hear feedback, even if some of it is constructive criticism.
