Biography

Born on the island of Mauritius and settled in South Africa since 1979. Jean-Jacques de Chazal makes a living by day managing a medicinal plants endeavour, and writes by night. His first book was hand written at the age of sixteen. As reflected in his writings, he is passionate about the facets of life's dilemmas and wonders as expressed by the secular and spiritual world.

The greatest joy of writing for me lives in its purpose, that is to communicate, to share with others pertinent actualities of our world and humanity.

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?

When I am not writing my time is spent making a living.
