Alan Brooks lives in Woodstock, NY. His first book, the Young Adult fantasy novel, "Indigo" was released in early 2013 and he's hard at work on the second book in the series.
He loves science fiction and comedy, and all sorts of escapism, from Game of Thrones and Neil Gaiman to David Foster Wallace, Jonathan Franzen, Junot Diaz, Hilary Mantel, Jennifer Egan and a host of others. Alan is always looking for book recommendations, if you have any to share. It's a great time to be a reader of cool, contemporary fiction.
