Leslie Robinson

Biography

Hello my name is Leslie Robinson
and I am the owner and founder of
Street Chicks in Recovery LLC
Street Chicks in Recovery
We tell women’s stories in recovery in many forms of media: audio CDs, comics, educational booklets, illustrations a recovery talk show on YouTube and a animation series called “Meditation for Street Chicks”.
Street Chicks in Recovery
We currently have a studio in Cape Coral FL, where we film The Street Chicks Show, and create the animation for our series ”Meditation for Street Chicks.” A cartoon about 5 women who live in the Lost and Found halfway house -- from all walks of life -- their stories will detail their struggles with addiction, acceptance, and coming to terms with the life they left behind.
Street Chicks in Recovery
At the Studio we also record live real life stories from women, and write and record original music for the show and animation series. We are currently working on an educational game application for Street Chicks in Recovery.
Street Chicks in Recovery
Street Chicks in recovery is a small business sharing stories from women in recovery and telling some of our own. We believe in the 12 step programs as they are, and we also respect the traditions of the 12 step fellowships. Because so many of us participate in these programs, we often reach out to our community and to the still sick and suffering alcoholic and addict.
Street Chicks in Recovery
Our big goal is to sell our series, to prime time television and to keep the studio local and continue to hire and train women in recovery.
Street Chicks in Recovery
We invite you to join us on our journey.
Street Chicks in Recovery
Peace and Love
