Lawrence Kapture

Biography

Lawrence Kapture has been involved with books all his life, as an avid reader and then a librarian. Eleven years with the New York Public Library included time on the influential Books to Remember committee, and ended with him moving to the sticks to take a gig as the Head of Adult and Reference services at a library near Kalamazoo.

Because he is married, he could sing “I’ve got a girl in Kalamazoo” and be factually correct, but doesn’t particularly care for Benny Goodman. He started publishing in the early nineties with role playing game supplements.
