I really enjoyed this book although I fear I am slightly out of the age range it is intended for but found that I could not put it down. It gripped me from the start and I really enjoyed how it flipped from both of the main characters POV's. Its a great plot and not one ive read about before. There are a few gramatical errors but nothing that deters from the book. I am left wanting to find out how they are going to now break the curse. Thanks to the author for giving me a copy to review. Looking forward to the next book!
  • Cascades of Moonlight (The Parker Harris Series: Book #1) on June 26, 2013

I was given this book by the author and asked to give an honest review. I loved this book from the start. It is aimed at a younger audience but I was grabbed by the characters straight away. There are some grammer issues and I found the dialogue a little stilted at times but it in no way took away from the overall book. I really enjoyed the interaction between the four main characters and the way the story progressed. I did kinda have an inkling who some of the characters would turn out to be but there were lots of twists and turns and surprises along the way. I liked the way it ended and am looking forward to reading the next installment.
  • Dreams, Spells, and Moonlit Tales (The Parker Harris Series Book #2 on July 01, 2013

I really enjoyed this second installment of the Parker Harris trilogy. The writing has definitely improved from the first book with only a few minor spelling mistakes. We now find all four characters going to college. Parker is having visions of Will everywhere both in dreams and whilst she is awake. Mitchell and Parker are getting closer and this is not being dealt with very well by Quinn and Jackie. Quinn finds out some devastating news which affects his relationship not only with Parker but Mitchell and Jackie as well. The ending leads us perfectly into the last installment. I really enjoyed this book and again devoured it wanting to know what all the dreams meant and whether our four friends would make it through together. Im really looking forward to the next installment and conclusion to this story.
  • The Dark Moon (The Parker Harris Series Book #3) on July 01, 2013

I really enjoyed this series and Amy McClung nailed it with this last book. Her writing has improved so much over this series which really shows. I loved the love triangle between Quinn, Mitchell and Parker and for once could not choose which boy Parker should go for. The book revolves around Quinn's dad wanting to bring back the love of his life which can only be done with a human (warewolf) sacrifice. Will is back but can they trust him! Parker and Jackie are kidnapped so that the sacrifice can be carried out, leaving Quinn and Mitchell frantically trying to find them before its too late. Its all very emotional throughout all this Parker must decided which man she wants. I liked the way this story played out and how all the characters lives are sewn up. Im looking forward to reading Crispin's story. If you havent read this trilogy yet I highly recommend it.

Well... what a great second book. Really enjoy reading it. The characters have all grown and Olivia is growing into her powers and is finding out more and more about herself. We now have a little love triangle and I am torn between who I want her to pick. The book ended on a cliffhanger and I am eagerly awaiting the next book to find out what happens next. I was given this book to read by the author for an honest review.
