Lidia Adaman-Tremblay

Biography

I am a mother and grandmother. Retired, of course. In my past, I worked in numerous offices as an administrative assistant, a costume designer, which led me into the film, TV and theatre industry (such fun!). Earlier in life, I was being trained as a concert pianist, since my mom and dad were both musicians, as is my brother. For a number of years I was (and still am) a licensed and ordained wedding officiant, and it's been my deep pleasure to unite couples in marriage.

I love to explore spirituality from various paths Dreams are a huge part of my life, and as a Dreamer and Dreamwalker, I work with dreams of others, helping them understand as to what their dreams may be telling them. This is part of my work as a Wiccan High Priestess. Lately, in my advanced years (72!) I have discovered the joys of Yoga, and now practice it on a daily basis, proving that one is never too old to learn something new.

Writing and reading is never far from my mind, though, and I am occupying myself with writing, something I've always wanted to do. I wrote my first 'novel' when I was about 15 years old. If I recall correctly, it was a science fiction which included time travel. I don't know whether to be happy or sad that these notebooks have been lost long ago!

At the moment I'm working on a post-apocalyptic novel, which I hope will be completed this year. *We Remember the Future* is companion novel in the 'Stonewood Vale' series which includes *Kaleidoscope*, *Nightshade* and *Harriet's Story*, all of which you'll find in e-book form here on Smashwords. I have also just posted a compilation of my 2015 dreams, *My Night Life 2015* with some meditations and observations thrown in.

I would appreciate any feedback you may have on my work, with thanks.

Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I came to Canada speaking to different languages - Russian and Spanish. As I started to learn English, I fell in love with words, their structure, and later with grammar. It was fascinating to me how language was put together. Of course, I also read books from a very young age, so it only a matter of time that I would start writing. And here I am!
What do your fans mean to you?
The world - they mean the world to me! Sharing my work with people and having their feedback is amazing. Thank you each and every one of you!
