Brian Benson

Biography

Most people start writing at a young age, and mature into seasoned writers. I waited until retirement, and began writing the stories that had been brewing in my head for over 30 years. As a native New Englander, my novels primarily take place in the eastern U.S. where I worked as a private investigator for a number of years. I have also served on the boards of directors for Citizens in Community Service, and Coalition Against Domestic Violence in Fulton County N.Y., where I also served as a police chaplain in the cities of Johnstown and Gloversville. I now reside in Alexandria, VA. My first novel Cob: Search For A Serial Killer was published in July. I have recently begun work on my second novel KOLOTL, about our investigative teams search for a serial killer south of the border. When not writing, I enjoy my retirement dog sitting my daughters two Lhasa’s Manny & Teddy, the ‘Knights Templar’ of our neighborhood in Alexandria.
