Stavros Tsiakalos was born in Bremen, Germany, and lives in Athens, Greece, where he works as an architect, runs a tiny hotel, and writes and illustrates children's books. Rumors though claim this is all an elaborate cover-up, that he is actually an undercover teddy bear. The fact that he looks nothing like a teddy bear just goes to show how good his disguise is.
