Deb Logan

Biography

Deb Logan specializes in fantasy tales for the young at heart. She loves mythology and is especially fond of Celtic and Native American lore. She writes about faeries, dragons, and other fantasy creatures for the younger set with a light touch. Deb's stories touch on the core of what it is to be young without the darkness prevalent in so many of today's YA works.

Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Oooo...I love to read (of course!), but I also like to play with my dogs. Mind you, I have BIG dogs...a hundred pound black lab and an only slightly smaller bull mastiff. Gentle giants, both of them. I also play with dragons. Of course, they're only pixels on a screen at Dragon Cave, but still...DRAGONS! Yay!!
Do you remember a special story from childhood?
I dearly loved "Shadow Castle" by Marian Cockrell. In fact, my first story, which led to my first novel, was inspired by "Shadow Castle". I doubt anyone would recognize the connection, since the stories themselves are nothing alike, but "Shadow Castle" made a big impact on me at an early age.
