Biography
I see beauty and art in many settings of my daily life. My camera is always handy. Born in 1951, I've called Long Island, NY home for all of my life and have seen the island in all of its many moods.
I specialize in nature and outdoor photography. The majority have been inspired by Long Island. This area is blessed by some of the world's most beautiful beaches creating many opportunities of seascapes.
I find much of the beauty of the outdoors in the details. The beach and the outdoors in general are ever-changing with the weather, seasons and time of day. I strive to capture the many variations of color, feeling and ambiance that these changes provide.
Other favorite subjects include upstate woodlands, horses, and even some panoramas from outside the country. I strive to look at things from unusual angles. New angles on familiar objects tend to call our attention to them and heighten our appreciation.

Enjoy reliving one couple’s experience with three separate trips to both the Quepos, Manual Antonio and the Arenal, La Fortuna areas of Coast Rica. These trips encompassed both rainy and dry seasons over eight years. Many things stayed the same and many were different, but we always found a friendly country with a lot to say about ecology, peace, and responsibility for the environment.
