Biography

Esther was born in 1934. In 1938 the family escaped from Nazi Germany. Her mother, Lotte Berk, a dancer developed her world famous exercise technique which Esther continues running classes to this day.
She is also a qualified counsellor and has a private practice.
Esther was married to the poet John Fairfax for nearly 30 years. She has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
Esther has published 3 books on the exercises, 1 memoir published in 2010 and numerous children's stories. Her latest book is a short biographical episode experienced recently. A lunchtime relationship. Esthers philosophy is fun, good conversation and staying curious.
