I received this book from the Author for an honest review. Echo is a continuation into a Sci-Fi thriller that will have you in its grip until the end. I wasn't sure how I would like the passing in years between Book 1 and Book 2, but once I started the story it was even better then the first one! Based in a post apocalyptic Earth, Echo the offspring from Baby, awaits patiently for over a century for the "One" to come. With all new characters this could actually be a stand alone, but the Author has cleverly added in bits of the past that ends up complimenting this story to its fullest. We are given a deeper insight into what Echo is and where she comes from when she befriends a young boy traumatized by an abusive father, a teenage boy adopted into a family after his family is brutally murdered, and a dog named Barney. Just like in Baby, Echo comes into a broken family and heals them all showing them golden love from her and the womb. But this story couldn't be complete without a villain or two and the Author does not disappoint. You will meet one so disgustingly horrible that you dread whenever his name is mentioned. Whether you like Sci-Fi thrillers with a bit of serial drama or extraterrestrial adventures where the characters grow tails and can heal, Echo is a great book filled with a twist in the end that foreshadows what is to come in Book 3. I can't wait!
  • Armageddon Cometh, Species Intervention #6609 Book Three on Dec. 18, 2012

I received this book from the author for an honest review. I love to read books where the story just keeps getting better and better. This is definitely one of those stories! With each book we get a deeper understanding into what is going on and just what Baby's original mission was here on Earth all those years ago. In fleeting glimpses we witness the destruction of civilization as we know it through violence, greed and corruption and what desperate people are willing to do in order to survive. But survive what is the question and it seems only a few people are privy to this answer. With things just settling down in their new island home, Jose, Abby and Scotty realize it is time to bring the rest of the family home to Florida. As Jose leaves to find Mama Diaz in New Jersey, Abby is shown via a dream, a mission that she must carry out in order to save not only her family and friends but a few "dogs and cats" too! Well maybe a few more then a few... With the threat of destruction immanent, Echo's chosen family must choose who to confide in and engage them into the mission as well. But with young love on the horizon, a few ghosts from the past resurfacing, and the return of one very smelly and dirty villain, this story will have you enthralled until the very end. A definite must read for those who love extraterrestrial end of world stories with a bit of romance, adventure, and some lots of animal love! I can't wait to see what is in store for them all in Book 4~

I received this book from the author for an honest review. Wow was I surprised by this story. I am not a sports buff in the least and worried that I would find this book hard to get through. I was so wrong! This book was not only engaging but the characters were so alive and believable that you felt as though you were right along side them throughout the entire story. The story was so well written it was like watching a movie inside your head. I know this book is geared towards the male YA readers but I think that anyone who loves a good mystery will enjoy this book. It is fresh, has a unique story line and brings in enough suspense, mystery, and intrigue that you won't want to put the book down until it is done. A few twists will keep it action packed, humor keeps it light and of course there is a bit of boy meets girl without being overly romantic. So don't worry boys it isn't a sappy romance at all! A great read and one I highly recommend.
