Biography

Originally from Macon, GA, Herman Toliver has been writing short stories about his hometown and surrounding areas since age ten. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, GA, and later earned his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He’s currently completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Toliver enjoys working with his patients, writing, and studying ancient Incan and Mayan history. He recently began learning to translate Egyptian hieroglyphs.
