The Hours of Creeping Night - A collection of dark speculative short fiction
on Sep. 11, 2013
Dark, despicable and delicious! ... Playle doesn't waste a single word – these short stories are beautifully crafted. Those who relish the macabre won’t be disappointed. But this is no gratuitous gorefest. Rather, the author’s prose sings its way across the pages. Her descriptions are gorgeously rich. This collection is dark – no doubt about that – but it’s speculative fiction at its best: clever, thought-provoking, chilling and, importantly, very well written.

Gagged and Bound - a book of puns, one-liners and dad jokes
on July 14, 2015
A lovely little rib-tickler from Nick Jones! In addition to the epub version, I bought three paperback copies of this book late last year and they made smashing stocking fillers. Whether you like a good giggle or an out-loud groan, you’ll find something in Gagged & Bound to take your fancy. Recommended!
